Former Devils goalie enters first start against NJ with ‘chip on his shoulder’

The Devils were in for a game against one of their former goalies for the first time no matter who started on Sunday.
Former Devils goalies Mackenzie Blackwood and Vitek Vanecek make up the San Jose Sharks’ goalie tandem after both being traded separately from New Jersey. It will be Blackwood, who played with the Devils from 2018-23, who will be the one to make his first start against his former team in Newark on Sunday in a game he admitted will mean a little more.
