Presented for your consideration is this neat vintage bicycle. The bicycle is a Spyder 500, 5 speed model made by Sears. It features an all metal frame work with 24" rubber tires, metal pedals, hand brake handlebars and a black banana seat. The banana seat is original to the bicycle and bares the Spyder 500 insignia on the side of the seat. At the back of the seat is a bar that arches over the seat and holds a red reflector on the back of the bicycle. The frame of the bicycle has a rare blue, green, yellow ombre coloration. Original decals are intact. One reads "Spyder 500" and the original name plate is on the front post of the bicycle. Wheels rotate easily and the kickstand easily folds and unfolds. Pedals move with ease and the chain looks to be in pretty good condition. Overall the bicycle looks to be in rideable condition, just needs some air in the tires. Guaranteed to be old. Dates to the 1960s-70s. this neat bicycle would make a great addition to any bicycle collection!
Handle bar coverings are missing. Light oxidation is on the chain, wheel hubs, handle bars and pedals. General wear from age and use is on the bicycle. Overall in VERY GOOD condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
Overall the bicycle measures approximately 64" long, 22" wide at the handle bars, and 38 1/2" tall.
